Our Approach
Blooms of Barker don't just stick to the traditional floristry rules. We are passionate about premium and top quality flowers in Wanaka.
No bouquet ever leaves Blooms of Barker without us being happy with it - we create what we would love to receive ourselves. Our flowers bring happiness and joy to people’s lives through the pleasure that receiving flowers provide. Amazingly, flowers bring people together in times of both happiness and sorrow.
Creating depth in our flower bouquets with a planned palette of colour is our main focus in our flower design. Every bouquet is carefully crafted, personalised, and unique.
Our History
Blooms of Barker was born as Wanaka Wedding Flowers in 2010 it has recently renamed as Blooms of Barker to broaden and widen the market and to be able to provide unique flowers for all occasions.
Our Future
Looking to the future Blooms of Barker aims to be growing our own flowers in our spectacular backyard of Mt Barker.

Sarah Allen - OWNER/OPERATOR
After growing up in Mt Barker, Wanaka - Mount Barker has inspired the base for our name. I have always had a passion for flowers and love the chance to be creative. After training and completing a Diploma in Floristry I sought out to make this dream a reality. I am also currently studying a Diploma in Small Business and Project Management.
I purchased a local Wedding flower business in early 2019 and am looking forward to developing the business further as well as reaching into new markets.
